Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank's first card, you need to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet's value is on same level to your beginning ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the showdown. If the house doesn't have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including a figure on par with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino's hand. The dealer pony's up money equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
