Poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other players attain 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank's 1st card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call bet's value is equal to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the bank doesn't have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including an amount in accordance with the initial wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer's hand. The bank pays out chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
